The Plank, one of the most effective exercises for abs and core strength, can be done anywhere.  Do this exercise two to three times per week–even when traveling–and you’ll soon have a strong back and stomach. This exercise can even help improve your posture.

How to do it
Lie face down resting on your forearms. Push off the floor, raising your feet up on to your toes and resting on your elbows, while keeping your back flat in a straight line from head to heels. Contract your abdominals, and hold for up to one minute. Repeat two times.
