The Western New Year’s always produce some good times, but I look forward to the Chinese New Year, which happens in Asia at the end of January.

Chinese New Year is coming. Now expats like myself make plans for the Chinese New Year. That means a whole week off to do whatever we want.

You’ll hear me say it hear first, backpacking is a truly brave and rewarding travel experience. I’m willing to wander on my own, but I need to have the comfort knowing I have cash and a place to stay. What is your preference?

When I prep any type of travel, I always make sure that there is plenty of physical activity involved. My favorite form of physical activity is walking because I can absorb my surroundings while I’m touring around in a new city.
